This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic individual looking for a great career move. Reporting to Senior Management, our new Marketing & Communications Coordinator will take ownership of Andrew Sheret and Splashes' overall internal and external communications.

The broad nature of the role will suit a detail oriented marketer, with an ability for plan creation and execution. They will work alongside existing staff responsible for the company's marketing activity, collaboratively fulfilling the duties of the department.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Review existing marketing activities and their effectiveness, and introduce a program of comprehensive marketing research.

  • Create and execute an innovative and fresh-thinking marketing strategy using the complete marketing mix, building a communications calendar and developing seasonal campaigns.

  • Produce and present reports to senior management on both completed and proposed marketing campaigns and concepts, with a focus on securing buy-in and company engagement.

  • Work directly with senior management on general implementation and any issues arising from Marketing and PR.

  • Manage multiple agency relationships across advertising, design, print, content, data and direct marketing.

  • Assist with creation of Digital Signage.

  • Communicate and collaborate with Branch Managers.


Essential Skills:

  • Experience in developing and coordinating print and digital projects.

  • Experience coordinating advertising campaigns across various media platforms.

  • Experience planning successful events for internal and external audiences.

  • Demonstrated experience using content management systems, such as Joomla/WordPress.

  • Experience with assessing and analyzing data to make informed decisions.

  • Conduct needs analysis, plan, organize, manage, monitor, complete, and evaluate projects within allocated time and resources.

  • Proven experience managing and coordinating a marketing budget.

  • Proven experience using a full spectrum of digital marketing tools including social media, productivity, and SEO tools.

  • Effectively using email, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation software at an advanced level (Office 2010 preferred).

  • Able to proactively address issues and explore new opportunities for campaigns and clients.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • 3-5 years' experience in a mid-level Marketing role.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, PR, or a combination of education and experience.

  • Some knowledge of the construction industry and/or big box retail.

  • Basic knowledge of Adobe's Creative Suite of products including: InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, Canva, Powtoons, Video Editing.
