Andrew Sheret Limited offers a comprehensive catalog for tens of thousands of products. Each of these items has a details page that provides deeper context and information, as well as additional functionality. This guide will introduce some of the key features of a product detail page, and how they can be useful to you.
Located in the upper right corner of the page (right below the product name) you’ll find the manufacturer’s model number for the item (in this case, the V 307174-01), the stock keeping unit number (or SKU, which is our reference number for the product), and the universal price code (UPC). In the case of certain commonly ordered items (like PEX fittings, for example) you may also see an EZCode, which is a shorthand reference number that can be easily memorized for rapid reordering purposes. Not every product has an EZCode however, so it’s normal to occasionally not see this information displayed.

All of the numbers and codes found in this section can be very useful for future product lookup and reordering purposes.

Below the SKU and UPC code area, you’ll find a count of all the stock available at your home branch (see Choosing a Branch for more information); if the quantities available aren’t sufficient, you can click on More Locations to expand the line and see if any other locations in your region have the item you’re looking for.

In this area you’ll also find details relating to item’s List Price and the discounted price extended to you as a valued registered customer.
If the item is available in the self-serve area of a branch, it’s bin and aisle location will also be stated here for easier in-store wayfinding.
Items can be easily exported to other parts of the ASL portal, namely lists or quotes. In the dropdown highlighted, you can export the item either to an existing quote or list, or you can create new ones on the fly that include the item.

Further down the product details page you’ll find a long-form description and overview of the item. These can include fine-grain details including features and benefits of the item, along with links to external marketing materials and handouts provided by the manufacturer, or detailed specification sheets.

Here you’ll also find a QR Smart Label button, allowing for the creation of a scannable QR code for easy and rapid reordering capability. Clicking on it will download a label that can be printed and scanned with a smartphone; doing so will cause your phone to open to that product’s details page.

For more information, see our article on QR Codes.
In the footer area of the product details page, you’ll generally find item dimensions and weight, along with specific package dimensions as well. These parameters are used for our shipping estimates during the checkout flow, and may be useful for calculating your own rates – should you elect to have the items transported from the branch using a third-party service of your choice.
